Services

Prenatal (Antepartum)

Getting ready for your birth is sometimes difficult especially if you are faced with complications. We have a passion for women who are experiencing “rest” situations. This was born from my journey. In your birth contract, you receive 1 to 2 prenatal visits at your home and phone consultations as necessary. Usually during the prenatal visit, we discuss your preferences for birth and get to know each other. Feeling comfortable with your birth team is important. Additional prenatal visits and support are available for those who inquire.

Birth

As a doula, it is our goal to attune to what is needed.  In labor that can mean physical comfort measures like hip squeezes, emotional support including words of affirmation, knowing your options and so much more. Planned or unplanned cesarean, epidural, or a natural birth, we are with you.  Your doula is a vital part of your birth team, working with your partner and your care provider to help you have a supported judgement-free birth experience.

Lactation

You are choosing to have support through what can be the most challenging time on your journey. We understand breastfeeding is a trial and error-process. Our goal is to offer grace and support as you try to figure this breastfeeding thing out! Together, we will work out the issues and bring joy and bonding to your breastfeeding journey.  If you decide that pumping or formula is going to be best for your family, please know that there is no judgment. Your sweet baby and your family bond are the most important gifts!

Postpartum

A postpartum doula assists families when they have a new baby. Having a baby can be overwhelming. A postpartum doula is trained and educated in many areas including infant feeding, recovery from birth, assist with bonding, infant soothing techniques, and non-medical newborn care. Postpartum doulas help new families in the precious first days and/or weeks after having a new baby.
